Two-wheelers given to differently-abled persons

School Education Minister K.C. Veeramani distributed side wheel petrol scooters worth Rs.58,000 each free of cost to 40 differently-abled persons.

Grievances redress camp

It was done through the District Differently-Abled Rehabilitation Office during the weekly public grievances rsedressal day camp at the Collectorate here on Monday.

The scooters were allotted for the year 2014-15.

R. Nanthagopal, Collector of Vellore, P. Karthiyayini, Mayor of Vellore, V.S. Vijay, Vellore MLA, M. Kalaiarasu, Anaicut MLA, Chockalingam, Deputy Mayor of Vellore , Joseph T. Ravi, District Differently-Abled Rehabilitation Officer and M. Vijayakumar, Information and Public Relations Officer were present on the occasion.
