While State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu had contributed Rs. 10 crore, the member industries donated an equal sum towards the infrastructure development, he said. According top priority for road infrastructure, a 10-km stretch would be relaid in the complex, which is in existence since 1985. Storm water drains were also being upgraded to a stretch of 19 km to prevent water logging on rainy days. More importantly, water lines, laid in 1988, would be replaced with bigger pipes to ensure free flow. High mast lamps would be installed at key locations, along with around 300 street lights.
