Traffic diversion to facilitate construction of flyovers

The Police has announced traffic diversion in the city from Sunday onwards to facilitate the construction of flyovers.

A statement of the Police issued here said that the traffic diversion will be effected from four roads junction to Anna Park on Omalur main road. The movement of vehicles has been suspended on the road leading to Anna Park, Periyar flyover from four roads junction.

The vehicles proceeding to collectorate from four roads junction should pass through Chathiram, Chathiram flyover, Paul Market, Venkatappan road, and Nattanmai building.

Heavy vehicles

The buses and other heavy vehicles proceeding to Ayothiyapattanam, Attur and Harur from four roads junction should pass via Chathiram, Seetharaman Chetti road, Gandhi stadium junction and Sundar Lodge.

There is no change in the route for the movement of vehicles proceeding from collectorate roundabout to four roads junction; and from Sundar Lodge to four roads junction via Gandhi stadium.
