Three persons on Thursday surrendered before a Pochampalli court here in connection with the murder of VHP’s district secretary.
They were: Gaja alias Gajendran (29) of Hosur; E. Babu (26) of Mathigiri; and S. Sadiq Basha of Hosur.
The VHP’s district Secretary Suri alias Suresh was hacked to death on Monday night here by four unidentified men who came on two-motorcycles.
According to a petition filed by those who surrendered, they decided to to so as the police were on the look out for them.
They, however, denied having any involvement in the murder.
The police said that Gajendran had prior enmity with the slain VHP functionary.
