Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s sathsang, ‘Ananda Sangamam’, was held at Anathaimadam Ground near S.T. Hindu College here on Sunday.

The event was conducted by Jaggi Vasudev’s Isha Foundation to mark the valedictory of a series of programmes organised from World Yoga Day on June 21. Isha Foundation conducted free yoga classes at seven centres in Kanyakumari district, in which 1.02 lakh people participated. Hundreds of volunteers of Isha Foundation conducted free yoga training sessions in schools, colleges, government and private offices, temples and for police personnel.

Thousands of people from different walks of life took part in Ananda Sangamam, presided over by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. His discourse was followed by an interactive session, in which the participants posed questions to him. Union Minister of State for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Pon. Radhakrishnan and Kottar Diocese Bishop Peter Remigius participated as special guests.
