They do not deserve to rule State: Vasan

Change of mindset is essential to bring about a change of rule in the State, according to Tamil Maanila Congress leader G.K. Vasan.

Campaigning for Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate C. Rajamanickam at Pappampatti village near here on Saturday evening, Mr. Vasan said that both the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam did not deserve to rule Tamil Nadu any more as they spoiled the State to the core. Fifty year of rule by the Dravidian parties had paralysed the State depriving of it growth or economic development. Pappampatti had been reeling under acute water crisis and lacking basic amenities and other infrastructure facilities. Several villages in the State had been facing a similar fate. Neither the DMK nor the AIADMK had any development plans. The DMDK–PWF combine alone could offer good governance, a clean and transparent administration and take the State on the growth path, he added.
