The Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited has organised Krishna Darshan exhibition ahead of ‘Krishna Jayanthi’ at its Poompuhar Showroom in the city.
Lord Krishna crafted in various styles using panchaloha, black metal, brass, sandalwood, and white wood are on display.
Dolls made of clay, stones, paper-mache too are exhibited.
The price ranges from Rs. 50 to Rs. 10,000.
Traditional lamps, pooja materials, sandalwood garlands, are the other articles available.
The Poompuhar has targeted to achieve a sale proceeds of Rs. 3 lakh.
The exhibition will be on till September 7.
The Poompuhar achieved a sale proceeds of Rs. 1.70 lakh during last year’s show against a target of Rs. 2 lakh, according to A.N. Xavier, manager of the Poompuhar showroom.
