Dengue prevention measures taken up in village

Director of Rural Development K. Baskaran inspected Alamarathupatti near Chinnalapatti here on Wednesday and advised officials to take up dengue preventive measures. At Alamarathupatti, three persons with dengue symptoms were treated 10 days ago. Later, the health officials identified eight cases during field visit at this village. Health and panchayat officials intensified preventive measures. Alamarathupatti was one of the 18 panchayats in the district that was declared open defecation-free panchayats.
