The Vellore Postal Division is conducting Dak Adalat on October 6 at the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Vellore division.
Customers, who have grievances and complaints on postal services, can send their complaints/representations to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Vellore: 632 001 on or before October 4 through ordinary post/registered post/speed post, a press release said.
Complaints pertaining to registered/insured/value paid articles/money orders should contain full details such as date and office of posting, sender’s/addressee’s details and photocopy of the receipt.
Those pertaining to savings scheme should contain the details of account number, while complaints regarding rural postal life insurance should contain name and address of the insurant and policy number.
Customers can attend the Dak Adalat at 4 p.m. if they want to put forward their grievances in person, according to the release.
