College gets NAAC re-accreditation

St. Jude’s College, Thoothoor in Kanyakumari has got re-accreditation with ‘B’ grade with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.86 on a 4-point scale, a press release said.

Of the total number of 49 colleges awarded ‘B’ grade, St. Jude’s College ranked third with CGPA of 2.86.

The three-member NAAC team led by Prof. Bharati Ray, former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University and former Member of Parliament, visited the college from December 7 to 9, 2015 for validation of the report.

The college has been providing excellent support and encouragement to all aspects of faculty improvement and student welfare.

All the stakeholders of the institution would pursue an enlightened approach in promoting the all-round growth of the institution in the coming years, a release from the college said.
