A dream park planned in memory of Abdul Kalam

The Eco Club of the Chikkanna Government Arts College will create a park in memory of late Abdul Kalam on its campus. The college principal, K. Shanmugasundaram told The Hindu : “The Kalam Dream Park is planned on a two-acre space in the 35 acre college campus and it will have herbal plants and trees that will purify the environment.” Mohan Kumar, an Assistant Professor of Zoology and coordinator of the Eco Club said that they would procure herbal plants such as dilvum and karunthulasi, and tree saplings of neem and pungam from the forest department that will give it to them free of cost.
