A designated special court adjudicating exclusively matters pertaining to SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act on Monday rejected the bail application of Santosh Roul alias Sarathi Baba. The court of S. N. Rajguru had earlier also refused bail to his adopted son Satyam Roul.
After perusing the case diaries submitted by the crime branch police, the designated court refused to grant him bail at this stage when the prosecution objected saying investigations into the allegations against him are still continuing.
