Security forces apprehended two suspected Maoists and recovered arms and over 100 rounds of ammunition in Banka district of Bihar in the early hours of Sunday.
Officials said the two Maoists, identified as Sikander K. and Arjun K., were nabbed around 3 a.m. during an anti-Naxal operation, led by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in the Pilua-Suiya area of the district.
The security personnel also recovered an INSAS rifle with two magazines, 120 rounds of bullet and a hand grenade, they said.
The operation was conducted by the 131st battalion of the CRPF deployed in the area, along with State police, they said.
