Talk by Nobel laureate

Ei-ichi-Negishi, Nobel laureate in Chemistry, will deliver a talk at the TKM College of Arts and Science here on February 11 as part of the Thangal Kunju Musaliar memorial lecture series.

The event is organised as part of the ongoing golden jubilee celebrations of the college. Mayor V. Rajendrababu will inaugurate the programme and TKM College Trust president Shahal Hassan Musaliar will preside over the function.

Noted scientist attached to Johnson Matthey of USA Thomas J. Colacot and founder director of the Institute of Intensive Research in Basic Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, I. Ibnusaud will speak. College Principal A. Hashimudeen said that at the function, industrialist and film producer K. Raveendranathan Nair would be honoured. Professor Negishi would also address a technical session on Pursuit of my dreams for half a century.
