Special squad for probe

: The police have constituted a special squad under the supervision of Kasaragod Dy S.P. T.P. Ranjith to probe the burglary of over 20 kg of gold ornaments and Rs.13 lakh in cash from the Eriyal branch of Kudlu Service Co-operative Bank here on Monday.The investigation team headed by Kasaragod Circle Inspector P.K. Sudhakaran held a meeting at the chamber of Superintendent of Police A. Srinivas here to discuss the investigation procedure, police sources said. The police are planning to extend the probe to neighbouring Karnataka.
