Short film festival winner

Colours of Dream , a short film done by S. Kiran from Balussery in Kozhikode district, has won the first prize in the State-level short film festival organised by the Palakkad Press Club in association with the District Library Council and Nehru Group of Institutions recently. A cash prize of Rs.20,000 and memento would be conferred on the winner.

T.C. Sudheep of Pattambi, who made the film Octopus , won the second slot. The cash prize is Rs.10,000. Feet in the sand by A.V. Subhash, Tay by Aditya Krishna, Kulfi by K.K. Vivek, Eight by Vishnu Vijay and Kite by Anand Kumar have won consolation prizes of Rs.1,000 each in the festival. The jury comprised film critic G.P. Ramachandran, writer M.B. Mini, and writer Satheesh Ramakrishnan. About 60 short films of not more than five-minutes in video/digital format were screened.
