Pilgrim dies of heart attack

: A 47-year-old pilgrim, Venkitesan from Vellore in Tamil Nadu, died of heart attack at the Government Hospital at the Sabarimala Sannidhanam on Sunday. According to Thanchavur Damodaran, Ayyappa Seva Sanghom stretcher service captain, the pilgrim suffered a massive heart attack while he, along with son, Aditya Venkitesh, was waiting near Malikapuram. The Ayyappa Seva Sanghom volunteers rushed him to the nearby Government Hospital. The sanghom volunteers took the body to Pampa from where it was transported to Vellore by an ambulance. .
