KSRTC restores circular service

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has restored its circular service in Pathanamthitta town in view of public demand.

Veena George, MLA, inaugurated the KSRTC service at a function at Mullanikkad near here on Wednesday.

The service links the KSRTC bus station with the Collectorate, Mini Civil Station, General Hospital, and various other hospitals in the town.

KSRTC sources said the service would be operated every 15 minutes.

The service will also be of help to residents of Mullanikkad, Aattarikom, Omalloor, Panyali, Vazhamuttom-West, Kodunthara, and Azhoor. Omalloor grama panchayat president Geetha Vijayan presided over the launch ceremony. R.Rajeev, District Transport Officer, and K.P. Udayabhanu, Communist Party of India (Marxist) district secretary were present.
