Two boys were electrocuted after they reportedly came in contact with a live electric wire in a field at Manchenahalli in Gowribidanur taluk of Chickballapur district on Friday.
The police gave the names of victims as Naveen and Ramesh, both aged 14 years. The victims reportedly went to fetch fodder when the tragedy occurred.
The boys accidentally trampled the live wire which was snapped and fell on the field. Manchenahalli police have registered a case.
