The city-based Academy of Comparative Philosophy and Religion (ACPR) will organise a three-day national conference on the topic ‘A paradigm of Integral Human Development in the thoughts of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’ at its Gurudeo Dr. R.D. Ranade temple complex in Hindwadi in the city from May 21 to 23.
The deliberations on the conference will be based on the thought of integral humanism as propounded by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and offer a creative reinterpretation of the multi-hued traits of Indian culture in its healthy form, ACPR Hon. Secretary M.B. Zirali said here on Tuesday.
The conference has been sponsored by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR). It is open for academicians, research scholars, students and the public. There will be lectures by philosophers, thought leaders and eminent personalities from across the country. ACPR has also invited research papers to be published as an anthology on the topic of the conference, based on seven broad sub-themes.
