It was a setting that looked no less than a movie set, and had necessary star power. From Kannada actors Puneeth Rajkumar, Ganesh and Jayanthi to well-known names from the Tamil and Telugu film industries such as Vishal Reddy and Sarath Babu, the audience had many fan moments. After giving the ‘stars’ a rousing welcome complimented by drumbeats, crowds rushed towards them to click selfies and shake hands with them. The bouncers, who until the ‘muhurta’ tried to control the crowd, later let them greet the couple.
