Programme to promote reading habit

The Kannada Book Authority (KBA) has formulated a programme to promote reading habit and book appreciation among people, particularly younger generation.

The Authority is organising a two-day workshop under this series at Kaiwara in Chickballapur district on December 20 and 21. KBA Chairman Banjagere Jayaprakash will participate in the inauguration programme, while former Chairman of Legislative Council V.R. Sudarshan will be the chief guest at valedictory function.

KBA member Sa. Raghunatha has appealed interested people to make use of the workshop.
