The Employment Information and Training Centre set up to address unemployment issues in Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Uttar Kannada districts will hold a mega job fair at KE Boards First Grade PU College here on Sunday. MLC S.V. Sankanur told presspersons here on Friday that the event would provide qualified candidates from these districts an opportunity to tap career avenues. Nearly, 3,000 candidates are expected to take part in the event which would be open for students who have passed SSLC, PU, ITI, diploma, degree, post-graduation and BE courses. Some of the leading companies, including Infosys, IBM, Tata Marcopolo, Mahindra and HP, will send their HR team to counsel and select candidates. Over 70 stalls will be set up, Mr. Sankanur said.
