KRV extends support to call for Dharwad bandh

The Yadgir unit of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Praveen Shetty faction) has extended support to the call for Dharwad bandh demanding speedy implementation of the Kalasa-Banduri Nala project.

The vedike activists staged a protest outside the Yadgir Railway Station on Wednesday.

PM’s Intervention sought

They urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve the Mahadayi waters sharing issue. They expressed dissatisfaction over the response of the Prime Minister to the all-party delegation led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and said that Mr. Modi should intervene and find a solution to the problem.

They submitted a memorandum addressed to Mr. Modi to the railway officials.
