Jayapal is new Chief Executive of CEMILAC

P. Jayapal has taken charge as the new Chief Executive of Bangalore-based defence unit Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC), a Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) press release here said.

CEMILAC is the agency that clears ongoing military aircraft projects, products, and components for flight safety.

Mr. Jayapal takes over from K. Tamil Mani, scientist and Director-General (Aeronautics), who held this additional charge.

Prior to this, he was Group Director (Aircraft) in CEMILAC. An M. Tech in aeronautical engineering, he joined the DRDO in 1985.
