Faculty development programme on IoT

A two-day faculty development programme (FDP) on “Internet of Things (IoT) and its applications” was conducted by the Department of Information Science and Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), in association with Monkfox, Bengaluru, at VVCE campus in Mysuru on June 27 and 28. More than 30 faculty members attended the workshop, which was organised to enlighten faculty members about the latest developments in the field of “Internet of Things”, said a press statement. The workshop, inaugurated by Vidyavardhaka Sangha Treasurer S.N. Lakshminarayana and attended by VVCE Principal B. Sadashive Gowda and Head of Department of Information Science and Engineering Ravikumar V., consisted of theory sessions along with hands-on session using Raspberry Pi kits.
