Exams put off

July 27, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:56 am IST - MYSURU:

The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) has, for the second time, postponed examinations for certain courses, in view of the KSRTC strike.

The examinations, which had originally been scheduled for Monday, had been put off to Wednesday. And with no end in sight for the strike, they have now been postponed to August 8.

KSOU Registrar (Evaluation) K.J. Suresh said students from across the State will write the exams at various centres, including Mysuru. In the absence of proper public transportation, it will be difficult for them to reach the centres, he said. He said the decision was taken following requests from students to put off the exams to M.Sc. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Psychology, Master in Tourism Management, MBA and LLM.
