Continuing Medical Education programme in Kalaburagi today

Kalaburagi Chapter of the Association of Physicians of India (API) and the Department of Medicine at Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College would be holding a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on ‘Cardiology Update-2015’ on Sunday at the Basaveshwar Teaching and General Hospital Auditorium.

Chairman of the Kalaburagi chapter of the API Basavaraj Belli said here on Saturday that senior physician and Professor Emeritus P.S. Shankar would inaugurate the CME.

Cardiologists from different parts of the country including Chief Interventional Cardiologist and HOD of Cardiology of Bombay Hospital, Mumbai, Satyan Sharma would present a lecture on “Present, Past and Future Management of Coronary Artery Disease”. O.P. Yadava, chief cardiac surgeon at the National Heart Institute in Delhi, would speak on cardiac surgery from yore to the lessons to be learnt and coronary intervention.
