‘Cong. looting public money’

July 10, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:41 am IST - CHITRADURGA:

Members of the district unit of the BJP took out a procession and staged a dharna Gandhi Circle here on Saturday in protest against the alleged failure of the State government in ensuring safety of sincere and honest police officers.

They alleged that Congress leaders in the State were involved in looting public money and were harassing sincere officers who oppose them. There were many instances of officers being transferred for performing their duties sincerely. Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy, who committed suicide two days ago, was transferred for more than 16 times in his 22 years of service.

BJP district unit president K.S. Naveen said that the suicide of Ganapathy had tarnished the image of the State in the country.
