Ranjit Singh, representing the host Mallasajjana Vyayamashala, and K. Saleem Basha of Hagri Bommanahalli in the district, won the Vijayanagar Halley’s Blue Best Body Builder and Halley’s Blue Best Poser titles, respectively, at a body-building contest held here on Sunday.
Mr. Ranjit Singh and Mr. Saleem Basha were given a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000, respectively, in addition to trophies.
The winners, first runner-up and second runner-up in six categories were given cash prizes of Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 and glod, silver and bronze medals respectively. Over 40 contestants from all the six districts of Hyderabad Karnataka region participated in the event in various categories.
