Woman held on charge of killing husband

The police unravelled the mystery behind the murder of a 40-year-old man at Singarabotlapalem, near Kandukur on Sunday night.

On a complaint from his wife, M. Krishnaveni, that her husband M.Pulla Reddy working in APSRTC was murdered by miscreants while they were returning on a motorcycle after duty hours, Kandukur CI M. Lakshman and his team began a probe. After intense grilling, the woman, who was not injured in the attack, admitted that she and her lover had plotted to eliminate him, the CI said.
