TOT centre opened

Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam’s (SPMVV) Vice-Chancellor V. Durga Bhavani and Registrar P. Vijaya Lakshmi, who attended the ‘Regional Forum on ICT Human Capacity Development and launch of Women and ICT Frontier Initiative’, organised by ‘United Nations Asia Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development’ (UN-APCICTD) at Republic of Korea, officially launched the ‘Training of Trainers (TOT)’ centre sanctioned to the varsity, here recently.

Through this centre, funded by the UN, training will be given to varsity staff and policy makers, to mould the women entrepreneurs in India.

Representatives from different countries, including the women and child welfare officers, at the forum emphasised on prevailing facilities and support programmes for women entrepreneurs.

SVU inks MoU with TCS

Meanwhile, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) inked an MoU with Tata Consultancy Services for conducting workshops for students, faculty development programmes and internships for the students of SVU College of Engineering.
