Tailor found dead

July 22, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 06:04 am IST - KURNOOL:

A tailor, Shamsuddin (52), was allegedly strangulated to death in his house at Vakkalapet near Almaspet in Kadapa town in the early hours of Thursday.

His family members, who went to attend a relative’s funeral at Badvel, rushed back on knowing about the death and suspected that he might have been killed with a towel, the police said.

Kadapa Superintendent of Police P.H.D. Ramakrishna inspected the house and inquired with the family members about the death.

A sniffer dog pressed into service led the police to a tea stall on Almaspet main road. Clues team personnel also inspected the house.
