‘Swachh Rail’ campaign organised in Tirupati

Accompanied by railway employees, Divisional Railway Manager (Guntakal) B. Gopinath Mallaya, took part in the Swachh Rail campaign at the Tirupati Railway station, here on Monday.

During the hour-long programme, Mr. Mallaya, along with other employees, cleaned the premises of the railway station and directed employees to keep their surrounding spotless and also take up extensive cleaning of railway tracks, train bogies and other railway installations.

Interacting with the media, Mr. Mallaya said the campaign would continue till March 2016. “As many as 132 railway stations, falling under the limits of the Guntakal Railway Division, will be a part of the programme,” he added.
