Swachh Bharat programme

NSS students of Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU), in association with Vaddeswaram panchayat members, participated in Swachh Bharat-Swachh Gramam programme in the village in Guntur district on Sunday. University Pro Vice-Chancellor A.V.S. Prasad and Dean (student affairs) Habibulla Khan inaugurated the NSS Cell on the occasion.

More than 100 engineering students took out a procession to create awareness among the villagers on cleanliness. They distributed saplings to the residents and cleaned roads.

Village Sarpanch K. Malleswari, Panchayat Secretary G. Amaresh, University Programme Officers Subhakara Raju and K. Sripati Roy participated in the cleanliness drive.
