Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah will be the chief guest of a meeting organised on the occasion of the first death anniversary of former Union Minister M. Srirama Sanjeeva Rao here on September 3.

The meeting will be held at the Alumni Auditorium of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, in which senior Congress leaders from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will participate.

Special postal cover

Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, former Union Minister and son of Sanjeeva Rao, M.M. Pallam Raju, said that a special postal cover will be released in memory of the late leader on the occasion.

“Since my father studied engineering with passion and rendered services to the field of science and technology, we have arranged the meeting in the JNTU, Kakinada. Along with a few friends, I am conducting this programme and all of us took a unanimous decision to invite Mr. Rosaiah, a non-controversial leader, to be the chief guest,” he said.
