One more dies of snake bite

Close on the heels of five persons of a family getting bitten by a cobra, preceded by the deaths of two children from snake bite at Uravakonda, one more person has succumbed to snake bite in the district.

Naramma, 55, an agriculture labourer was bitten by a snake while she was working on a chilli field on the outskirts of the Narpala mandal headquarters village. She was taken to the hospital at Narpala where she died while undergoing treatment.

Girl dies

A five-year-old girl Sravani died from snake bite at Parlapalli of Kurnool district in the wee hours on Friday. Sravani died on the way to the Government hospital at Yemmiganur.
