MLC Adireddy Appa Rao, who recently crossed over to the TDP from the YSRC, denied the charge that his move was to make money.

He was referring to allegations made by former MLA and YSRC leader Rowthu Surya Prakasa Rao.

Addressing the media on Wednesday, Mr. Rao said that there was no respect for seniority and experience in the YSRC. Most of the leaders know that there was no freedom in the party. “Leaders such as Mr. Prakasa Rao will not allow others to grow,” he said.

“This apart, I have a long-standing relationship with the TDP,” he said. He also denied the charge that the ruling party was coercing people into joining the TDP.
