Free eye camp held

Suruchi Foods conducted an eye camp on Sunday at Tapeswaram ZP High School with the support of Telugu Association of Greater Chicago.

G. Madhavi and her team from Gowthami Eye Institute, Rajahmundry, conducted eye tests on 264 persons and recommended surgeries for 74 . Polisetty Mallikharjuna Rao, head of Suruchi Foods, said the 74 identified patients would be sent to Gowthami Institute, and that surgeries would be performed free of cost in Rajahmundry. Spectacles were also distributed to 64 aged persons.
