Expedite Buggavanka bridge work, officials told

Kadapa District Collector K.V. Satyanarayana directed officials on Friday to expedite the construction of a Rs. 1.50 crore bridge across Buggavanka stream from Kadapa old bus stand to Ravindranagar.

The Collector said the inmates of 192 houses adjoining Buggavanka stream, which were identified as encroachments, would be relocated after holding discussions with them.

Service roads would be laid on either sides of the stream by holding talks with the encroachers, he added.

Mr. Satyanarayana told Kadapa Municipal Commissioner Chandramouleeswara Reddy to undertake desilting of Buggavanka stream to facilitate smooth flow of water.
