P. Seshadri alias ‘Dollar’ Seshadri, presently working as Officer-on Special Duty (OSD) at the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara, is all set to get another two years of extension .

An indication to this effect was given by TTD Executive Officer M.G. Gopal, who on Thursday issued orders extending the services of Seshadri until a decision was taken at the next meeting of the TTD board of trustees. Mr. Seshadri, whose two-year extended term concludes on Friday, already requested the management to consider him for another extension.

Mr. Gopal said that once the proposal gets through in the meeting, plans were afoot to use his services at all other temples under the TTD’s fold instead of confining him to the Tirumala temple. Mr. Seshadri is currently on his eighth year of extension after attaining superannuation on July 31, 2006.
