Devotees perform 'Chakrasnanam' in Rajahmundry on Sunday.

Vedic pundits, priests and temple authorities of Sri Govinda Kshetram in the SBI Officers’ Colony here have performed “Chakrasnanam” to presiding deity Lord Venkateswara Swamy on Sunday. A procession of Utsav deities were taken out in the city by the temple authorities including doctor Bhalabhadraraju couple, Pulavarthi Lakshmanaswami, Mattapalli Rangaprasad, Sureshkumar, Ramkumar and M.P.R. Vittal have carried the palanquin of the processional deities.

After the procession reached Pushkarala Revu on the banks of the Godavari, all the devotees performed Chakrasnanam. On Saturday night “Tiruveedi Utsavam” of Alamelumanga sameta Venkateswara Swamy was held as hundreds of people participated.
