Eluru Range Deputy Inspector General of Police P.V.S. Rama Krishna on Tuesday reviewed the security arrangements being made by the Krishna district police for the Krishna Puskharams.

Mr. Rama Krishna made it mandatory that each of the 74 bathing ghats should be brought under CC camera surveillance until the last day of the 12-day river festival. “Separate barricades should be arranged for the entrance and exit of the devotees for better crowd management. Boats and swimmers should be deployed at the ghats for any rescue operations,” said Mr. Rama Krishna Rao.

Krishna district SP G. Vijaya Kumar explained the plan for management of vehicular traffic, deployment of staff and swimmers and other security details during the review meet.
