Brahmotsavams works at Tirumala reviewed

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) JEO (Tirumala) K.S. Srinivasa Raju at a high level meeting with the heads of various departments here on Tuesday reviewed the progress of several ongoing works in connection with the Salakatla Brahmotsavams scheduled to commence from September 16.

He instructed the officials to complete all the pending works before September 10 without fail. He directed the officials to be more vigilant as the turnout will be huge.The vigilance authorities were instructed to strictly adhere to the guidelines in issuing of the duty passes to the employees, police, security and Sri Vari seva volunteers working inside the hill temple during the festival.

Meanwhile, the barbers working at the Kalyankatta have been asked to be more courteous while dealing with pilgrims during the festival. Several of the speakers who addressed them at the Asthana Mandapam appealed to them to be more polite in their approach and discharge their duties with sincerity.
