ATM cash theft case solved; six arrested

Police unravelled the mystery behind the daylight robbery of Rs. 53 lakh from outsourced employees of Logicash agency of Tata Communication Payment Solutions Ltd. in Pulivendula in Kadapa district on April 18, by detecting that the complainants were the conspirators and that they were assisted by their friends and relatives.

Police arrested two ATM service associates, Alapati Sreenivasulu, 27, of Vemula, Yellanuru Konda,Vikram of Gunakanapalli village in Lingala mandal, and four others near Namalagundu temple on Kadiri road on the outskirts of Pulivendula town and recovered the entire stolen amount of Rs. 53 lakh from them, Kadapa Superintendent of Police Navin Gulati told the media in Kadapa on Thursday.
