January 31, 2017 01:11 am | Updated 01:11 am IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Network hospitals have agreed to resume services under Employee Health Scheme following a discussion with Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas here on Monday.

Andhra Pradesh Speciality Hospitals Association (ASHA) president V. Murali Krishna in press release said that the decision to resume services was taken after the Minister held a meeting with the CEO of NTR Vaidya Seva Trust and representatives of 200 network hospitals. The Minister assured them that the tariffs based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) would be revised and the enhancement to compensate for annual inflation would be implemented yearly.

With respect to operational and other unresolved issues, the Minister sought a few weeks’ time.

He asked the CEO NTR Vaidyaseva Trust to work with the network hospitals to ensure uninterrupted services.
