Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) Officers’ Association and Harshamitra Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Tiruchi, jointly conducted a ‘Free Breast, Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp’ recently at the Officers’ Association premises. Nearly 130 women benefitted from the camp.
N.S.Ramalingam, Executive Director, Township Administration, NLC Limited, was the chief guest. Guest of honour Dr.G.Govindaraj, surgical oncologist and Director, Harshamitra Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Tiruchi, delivered an awareness talk on cancer. N.Premkumar, President, Officers’ Association arranged the camp. L.Raja, Treasurer, officers’ association, anchored the function and S.Chandrasekhara Raju Officers’ association participated.
