The final phase of counselling for admission to B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.B.A. and B.C.A. degree courses through the Centralised Admission Procedure for Arts and Science Courses (CAPASC) is scheduled for over two days on September 9 and 10.
Sasi Kanta Dash, CAPASC convenor, said that at the end of the seventh phase of counselling, there was a total vacancy of 228 seats.
The total number of admitted candidates was 1,989 out of a pool of 2,108 seats for arts, science and commerce courses.
Out of the admitted candidates, 109 students were given TC, resulting in a vacancy of 228 seats. The counselling will be held at the Bharathidasan College for Women.
CAPASC has informed that candidates who have applied but till date not got an opportunity for admission may get their names registered in the CAPASC office in the college from September 7 (1 p.m.-5 p.m.) to September 8 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
Those who have already given request letters shall get their details checked against the information displayed in the notice board at the CAPASC office.
The seats will be filled up from among the registered candidates —based on their merit and category —and depending on the vacancy of seats in each college and discipline-wise.
