Students take out sanitation awareness rally

The students of St. Patrick Higher Secondary School, Saradambal Nagar, Puducherry and Kendriya Vidyalaya took out an awareness rally recently in connection with Sanitation Fortnight organised under the auspices of JIPMER.

Staff of JIPMER also joined the rally which was inaugurated by Dr. Subhash Chandra Parija, Director in presence of the Dr.J.Balachander, Medical Superintendent.

The rally emphasised on personal hygiene, environmental sanitation and other health aspects and was taken out along the residential quarters and hospital area.

The fortnight-long programmes called by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will conclude on February 15.

Various health and sanitary activities have been planned focusing the patient and attenders visiting JIPMER.
