Theatre: Mera Bharat Mahaan?

May 10, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST

The play revolves around an aspiring writer, Rangnath Randhawa. He constantly ponders upon questions pertaining to his country: Why do cows almost inevitably sit in the middle of road? Why are national holidays also ‘dry days’? Why is change an undesirable phenomenon in India? These queries have been troubling Randhawa ever since he entered the quiet town of Shivpal Ganj. Apparently, Professor Garg, who heads the Gandhian Studies’ Department at a local university, has all the answers. The play is intended only for an adult audience. Tickets: 250.
